Dr. Bruce Chamberlain

Dr. Bruce Chamberlain

Our Choral Director, Dr. Bruce Chamberlain, has been active in church music ministry since 1974. In addition he has been a university Director of Choral Activities for 41 years, recently retiring from The University of Arizona where he established one of the largest graduate choral studies programs in the country. Bruce is the founding director of the Tucson Symphony Orchestra Chorus and enjoys making music with singers and instrumentalists and has created a tradition at Trinity Presbyterian for exciting large scale choral/orchestral offerings at Christmas and Easter. The Trinity Choir is an adult volunteer choir that rehearses on Thursday evenings seeking to enrich the worship experience for Trinity’s congregation as dedicated lay worship leaders.

Bruce continues to guest conduct throughout the world, but he and his wife Peggy always look forward to returning to their home in Oro Valley, spending time with their adult children and granddaughter.

He and his wife, Peggy, enjoy their Tucson home, swimming and reading; they have 4 grown children.
