KidsChildren of any age are always welcome in our worship. Worship clipboards are available at the back of the sanctuary. They include worship aids like Bible and Hymnal bookmarks, crayons and paper, offering envelopes, and children’s bulletins — materials that can help both readers and pre-readers participate in the service with the congregation, and engage the Scripture readings at an age-appropriate level.

Children’s sermons are offered at the 10:30 service. Children may sit with a leader in the front pew, and then go with the group to their class. Middle school children (12 years and older) may volunteer to serve with a parent as an usher or greeter. Baptized children of any age are welcome to take part in the Lord’s Supper with the rest of the congregation.

Godly Play

Worship-based learning for elementary children invites exploration, reverence, wonder and prayer. Every Sunday morning from September to May, the children meet a leader in the front pew of the sanctuary as the 10:30 service begins. They participate in the first part of worship together with the congregation before going to the Lower Level (Room 7) to work with Bible stories, craft activities and have a snack. This class is open to children from 3 to 5 years old.

Hands On Bible For Kids
